We used a tour bus (red) that has lots of stops throughout Rome that you can get on and off as you please. I think I remember it being pretty reasonable for an all-day pass. The food there is awesome and of course all the amazing historic sites. Make sure you hit Vatican City, Colosseum/Forum, and window shop at the base of the Spanish Steps... Have fun!!!
